Pigeon Island, Saint Lucia

If you need something to do over the weekend in Saint Lucia, I recommend visiting and climbing Pigeon Point.

I climbed Pigeon Island over the holiday weekend (Thanksgiving back in October, but it isn’t the same as in the U.S.), which I initially mentioned in this post here.

It was a beautiful climb to the top that we ended with a relaxing lunch at Windjammer Resort in Gros Islet.

Take a peek at these amazing views. It was well worth it after the work out climbing to the top!

Until next time,

What to Do in Saint Lucia? (Warning Image Heavy)

Safely walk around and explore the city, especially if you are in Castries of Gros Islet. You will be amazed at the things you just happen to notice or see.

When walking around you will begin to see a number of flyers that are promoting a wide range of events. You will probably also receive texts that advertise the events supported by the Ministry or your phone carrier.

You might even run into a random block party 7:45 Friday morning in Castries

Once you figure out where you want to go or what you want to experience, just go to have a good time and meet people!

I went to a kids swim meet. There is only one public pool on the whole island. The rest are private or hospital owned.

There are a lot of events held in the cultural center in Castries as well. Very nice venue where I saw a few competitions/shows.
